Education
Mary Ann holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Loyola Marymount University and completed the College Counseling Program at UC Irvine.
Experience
She has nearly 15 years of counseling students preparing for college and other post-secondary endeavors. She brings a perspective that gives consideration to each student’s abilities, interests, and commitment to extracurricular and volunteer work to make their community a better place. Mary Ann was a Lead Regional College Readiness Counselor at Futures Academy for over five years. Prior to that she completed the CBEST and did substitute teaching in public high schools and middle schools.
Fun Facts and Hobbies
- Her interests include volunteer work as well as beach walks, where she takes pictures of sunsets which fill her social media pages.
- She loves board games and has been on three game shows in the last five years.
- In her prior career, Mary Ann was the Project Manager for Botox.
